How Does Your Garden Grow

My garden is really growing!  Here are some pictures taken this morning after a night of thunderstorms.

We have a lot of tomatoes growing.  It won't be until mid to end of July before they are red.

The green and purple beans are flowering, so the beans will follow shortly.

If you look closely in the center of the zucchini plant you can see the first zucchini of the season growing.

The herbs are doing well and you can see the dill plant is huge!

I know I promised an evening shot of the pergola with the lights on, but it has rained every evening for a week or more.  Hopefully we will be able to dine out one night and I will get some pictures then.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend!

  8. Lovely! Your garden really is growing. I love how you have it planted right there in those raised beds by the patio, etc. I'm going to have to show pictures of your backyard transformation to my husband - he's been talking about doing some of the same things. Since we have pretty much finished inside the house for now, we've been working on our yard quite a bit. I think it will take us two or three years to get everything done, but it's coming along nicely.

  9. Love your garden and those tomatoes are looking some kind if good. Have you ever made stuffed squash blossoms? I haven't made them or eaten them but last summer a blogger stuffed and fried them and I've been wanting to try them ever since.

  14. Wow, you have a terrific garden. We don't plant a vegetable garden here, but everything here is looking happy because of a good 4" rain we had two weeks ago.

  18. Send rain! DH was just commenting this morning that this is the worst his garden has ever looked. Due to drought he cut back a lot on what he planted and it just isn't lush like usual. I'm not showing the poor guy your beautiful garden :-)

  20. Your garden is doing really well. We are thinking with the move being at the end of the month instead of rushing will any landscaping we will wait until early fall. It will help the budget and we will be living there for a bit.
