Just a short post to show you a picture I took this morning out of my window, sitting at my computer reading your blogs.
I will be finished painting the dining room today, and will be able to push the hutch back against the wall and start unpacking the boxes full of china. Mr. Comforts is hopefully going to put up our new chandelier in the dining room this weekend. So hopefully I will have a reveal to show you on Monday!
Have a wonderful weekend!

Wow, what a view. Can't wait to see the reveal.
I wish I was there sharing that misty mountain view Penny - stunning!
Painting sounds likes it's coming along in leaps and bounds - looking forward to the reveal and especially the chandelier pics!
Not much decorating going on here - however while shopping at Pier 1 yesterday I couldn't resist some gorgeous candles.....even though I have far too many already! I can light them and enjoy a little evening glow without too much work.
Love and hugs, enjoy the weekend - Bob comes home from Portland tonight so I'll be at RDU very late!

What a lovely view. I can't wait to see your dining room!
Very misty and mysterious today...lovely views you are going to enjoy all year through. Sounds as if you've been making great progress. Have fun and play with those dishes!
Penny, I was so pleased to read that you are at the point of being able to sit for a moment to contemplate the view - and what a gorgeous view it is! Your mountain mist is different from our coastal mist, but it is enchanting. I wish you luck with all the unpacking to come. May it be the last time for a long time!
You always find homes with the loveliest views! I'm so looking forward to your reveal:>)
Such a lovely view. As you know, I am so fond of a long view from the mts. like this. Glad you had a few minutes to enjoy it.

I am missing those NC mountains. You have a lovely view out your sunroom window. Can hardly wait to get back to see it for myself. I'm anxious to see what color you painted the dining room.
Hugs, Penny

I might get lost in day dreaming if I sat looking at that view. How beautiful. You'll love watching it change over the seasons.
You're lucky to live in such a peaceful setting. I know you must be so ready to have your house all done and ready for the holidays. Can't wait to see your next big reveal!
What a wonderful way to begin your day. It would be difficult to leave a spot with a view like this.
