Beurre

Beurre....

No, I didn't mean to say brrrrrr as in very cold, though it has been very cold here in NC.  Yesterday was in the 30's but we had wind gusts of up to 70 MPH so it felt a lot colder.  Today it is in the mid 40's.

See my new butter bell?  The cute polka dot spreader came with it.  The other side says "butter".   It looks so cute on my wine barrel lazy Susan.   It comes black or blue too.  Here is a link to the website I purchased it from, in case you want one too ;-).

I finished painting the guest bathroom.  Now I need to put it back together.  This weekend I hope to start on painting the kitchen after Mr. Comforts gets the lights hung.  The ceiling has been repaired and looks wonderful.

I thought that I would wait until after the first of the year to start showing pictures of what I am doing to the house.  Even though some rooms are painted, pictures are not up, decorative items are still in boxes.  Plus, I know you all are busy visiting with friends etc for the holidays.  So if you come back and visit in a few days,  I will start posting some new home pictures.

Have a wonderful weekend!
p.s. I was not compensated in anyway from the Butter Bell Store.  I just love my butter bell and wanted to share it with you.

That is a very sweet little butter bell. I have one, but it is quite plain. Yours would really perk up a kitchen counter.

Penny - I love your butter bell. How exactly does it work as I have been wanting one. The only time my butter is soft is in the summertime. Curious to know & love what you have been showing us. Busy girl!

I knew it was butter .... not brrrr....LOL. How are you Penny? Hope your Christmas was beautiful and your New Year will be full of goodness. Looks like you have been having a great time redoing and decorating your home. We are now in the process of talking retirement and maybe moving. Our house is big and downsizing is going to be a real chore. Not looking forward to that part at all. xoxo

Hi Penny, Thank you for your comment on my post of the cruise. We did have a wonderful time and would love to go again. The river cruise is so much nicer than a huge cruise ship. More personal with up to 140 people. We are hooked.

I love your butter bell so much. A great find. I saw the peek of your Living and your dining room too. No surprise that it looks awesome so far. You have a decorators flair for the right things to put together. I am looking forward to seeing more.

Happy New Year to you and yours.
Love,
Jeanne

I am just about to freakin' flip out to see your new home. I am so wondering what colors on the walls...we will be painting as soon as a little addition is done on our new home and am pretty sure I will stick with creams and whites.
And, of course, I really NEED a butter bell. :) Going right over to ck them out....:)
hugs, bj
