We are replacing the chandeliers that are in the house we just bought. They are nice chandeliers, just not our style. I will be taking the chandeliers to a consignment shop. Here is the one currently in our dining room. Keep in mind that I am painting the walls a different color, too.
I decorate in the French Country style. I have been looking on Houzz.com for some ideas and here are a few I found. I didn't realize how many different styles of French Country chandeliers there were!

Is there anyone here that strikes your fancy? We have actually already bought the new lighting for the house. The chandelier we chose for the dining room is similar to a couple I have shown you.
We are moving forward - no pun intended - on our move. The flooring that was ordered is now in, and after it is delivered to our house it has to acclimate for 72 hours before they can start laying it. We are not going to be able to get the house painted before we move in due to time constraints, so we will just deal with that after we move. Got to go with the flow, right?
I am packing still, and the move in date is still set for Nov. 26th. I can't wait to get in there and start house whispering! I am looking forward to showing you real pictures of my home and not just inspiration photos!

Oh wow, so many pretty chandy's. I love the ones in the first picture. Can't wait to see what you selected. Hugs, marty
So many pretty swirly chandeliers! I think the last one might be my favorite, but I like them all:>)
I think I like the last two, but any of them would be great. Miss you. We are still settling in.
Can't wait to see your choices.
We can't wait for you to start house whispering either! The last two homes you've had have been beautiful. I have no doubts this one will be too.
So many pretty choices. First and fourth are my favorites.........S
They are all beautiful, but I like the second. Can't wait to see what you do to the house.
Penny
I know this house will be just as lovely as your last home you re-decorated.
As for lighting, I love the Mediterranean one.
Of all the beautiful things you have pictured here...I love the dog the most lol
hugs

So many pretty ones it would be hard to chose. I'm fond of the second one with the shades. Can't wait to see which ones you liked Penny.

I love your taste, Penny. Your new home deserves a pretty chandy in just your style. These are all gorgeous!

Can't wait to see what you choose!!
Lots of inspiration, Penny. I'll bet the ones you chose are beautiful. I'll bet you are itching to get in there and get things going to put your stamp on the house. I'm looking forward to following along with all you do.
I don't know how you do it! Moving and remodeling and still finding time to blog about it. I'm so impressed. You are one busy lady. I love all of the inspiration pics you shared. Sounds like you're going to have alot of good things waiting for you before you move in.
My favorites of the chandeliers are numbers 2, 3, and the last one. Can't wait to see what you've chosen, and can't wait to see your new home pictures!
They are all so pretty, but my personal favorite is the first one...so simple and stunning. This is so fun to be able to go along with you on your decorating adventure!! ;)
Hi Penny,
I love the entranceway to your new house. I love chandeliers, my favorites are the traditional ones with lampshades. I love so many of the ones you have shown. I also love those little ones I see everywhere with crystals. Someday I am going to put on of those in my art room.
Happy creating.
Karen
I like the first and the last one. Can't wait to see what you have chosen!
So much to look forward to and be thankful for. Can't wait to see what lights you chose!
Hi Penny, I am loving your pics of your new home. I agree, the chandy must go. I liked the one with the red walls. There is a big variety for sure.
I can feel your excitement with being anxious to move. I would be too. Don't over do. I mean it. Take it easy and slow. Moving is exhausting.
Hugs, Jeanne
Goodness I've been missing all you've been up to dear one, but so thrilled to find the new home is now yours and you and K are already 'whispering' and picking out beautiful items. I love the first French country style chandeliers - a wine country look - but all are gorgeous.
We got home yesterday after an amazing journey to see such lovely places............Venice of course my favorite and I must go back!!!!!
More later - so busy now. Sending hugs.

Sounds as if you're having yourself some fun. I've never selected lighting fixtures. Oh, I've been along for the ride, but truly have never done it. I wouldn't have a clue. What you had looks fine to me, but all those you've shown look fine to me. I do NOT have a discerning eye.
They're all very attractive, Penny, and I'm sure that whatever you've chosen will look beautiful.
Depending on the ceiling height, my personal choice would be either # 2 or # 3...I'm not a huge fan of chandeliers or sconces with bare bulbs, and much prefer the softer look of shades. But that's just me ...
And having seen your previous houses, I'm sure whatever you choose will look wonderful. Can't wait to see!
I love the simple lines of the ones in the first photo. Can't wait to see the ones you've chosen.
This is all so very exciting, Penny. I know you can hardly wait.
I love lighting. So many beautiful pieces. The first one is my favorite.
I do like the first one although I realize it isn't your style. Otherwise I like the ones with lampshades best.

Oh, I'd love to make all those house decisions!!! The french chandies you showed are exquisite!!! I'll be looking forward to seeing photos of your new home!
I know whatever you chose will look perfect! YOu have so much energy, you just seem tireless!!
So fun but lots of work too. Hope you'll be mostly settled by Christmas. Mimi
They are all pretty.
The 2nd photo looks a lot like the one hanging in your new house..just change out the shades and, walla, a French chandy.:)
