My Fall

My sister and her husband just left.  I miss them already.

We spent 4 days hiking, antiquing, visiting the Biltmore Estate and more.

Here are some of the pictures I took on a day we hiked in Dupont Forest.






It is beautiful around this area year round, but in the fall it is breathtaking.

  9. That looks like a wonderful spot for hiking with the beauty of the trees and water. I like the covered bridge! This past week, I enjoyed a hike as well. It's good to experience the beauty of nature at this time of year.

  20. Absolutely gorgeous photos! I'm in Kansas and we are enjoying an unusually warm fall, so we have been outside taking advantage as much as possible. If my neck of the woods looked like yours, I may never go inside!

  22. Attended an outdoor wedding in Nashville, TN on Friday. The colors around Nashville are awesome. Enjoyed driving through the area. Love this time of year.

  27. What lovely walks you must have had - it's so beautiful near where you live.
    Yesterday we went for a walk in the forest, up the Hydro cut to where we had a nice view. I love this time of year!
