Wild Ones

Some of the wild life around my home.  I took this video from my front deck with my camera.  The quality is not that great, but you can see what is an every day occurrence around here.  Well except for me talking to the turkey.  I don't normally do that.  Really!

Some day I am going to get a video camera...The turkey was actually quietly gobbling when I talked to it.  Just call me Dr. Doolittle :-).

Have a wonderful weekend!
Welcome Home,
Penny

  1. Your cute turkey didn't seem effected by your presence at all, Penny!

Loved seeing your deer running across the yard from your tree house view! So pretty.

  3. We have a lot of deer passing thru our yard too Penny. They don't even run when we go out on the deck to look at them, just when Toby follows us out and starts barking at them!

  4. You really do have a happy little herd of deer living near your house. I began looking for the antelopes! You had the turkey quite mesmerized. He probably said, "What am I? Chopped Liver?" =D

  5. I wish I had this kind of wild life to photograph. The ones around here are loud college students.

  6. You do have wildlife. My mom has deer like that in her neighborhood here. They are very secluded and all the deer just walk around and nap in her yard. We had wild turkey a couple of years ago here, but haven't seen them since.

  7. I adore having wildlife in the back yard! Aren't the turkeys interesting? I never saw a wild turkey growing up, even though I grew up in farm country! Now they are everywhere. I have heard the population is making a come back. I'm glad, these are majestic birds and so fun to watch! Thank you for sharing this Penny:>)
