French Landscape

While out antiquing last week at the Screen Door, an oil painting that I have been wanting was finally marked down half price!  I had wanted this painting or one like it for years.  I spotted this one about 6 months ago, but didn't like the price.

I am only going to show you a sneak peek of it, because I am waiting for a frame to arrive to put it in.

This is a close up cropped shot.  The actual painting shows a lot more French countryside.  The painting is large.  Without framing it is 2 feet x 3 feet.

As soon as the frame gets here, I will show you the whole painting and where it will be hung in my house.
Welcome Home,
Penny

You didn't tell me it has cows in it! I'm jealous but you deserve it for being patient and waiting until the price went down. Good thing I wasn't with you. I almost knocked my SIL down when antiquing to get to a cow picture I have. That's the way she tells it anyway.

Hi Penny, I love this pastoral painting too. I have always liked impressionistic art. This will be wonderful when framed. Oh yes, half price speaks to me in a big way. Smile.
