Toile Party!!

There is a toile party going on in blog land! Hosted by Pretty Organized Palace! I love TOILE don't you? I didn't know about the party until this morning so, these pictures were taken in a hurry, without great sun light...Here is just a little bit of the toile in my home...

I made this pretty lampshade and it sits in my studio on my desk.

In the background in the picture below you can see the toile curtains in my dining room.

Below is the eat-in area of my kitchen....

I made these shades and they are on a chandelier in my eat-in kitchen.

I even have a toile ironing board cover!

My master bedroom is toile, tole and checks!

Toile background inside my kitchen hutch.

Lavender toile in the guest room

And finally a toile shower curtain in the guest bath.

To see more toile visit Pretty Organized Palace for all of the other participants!
Welcome Home,
Penny

  4. Hi Penny, I don't have a blog, just a blog follower. Nancy at SouthernLady featured my home on her blog and you left very kind comments. I just want to say your home is beautiful. I love all your toile. I am looking for some toile for the back of my kitchen hutch. I already have the chicken wire and have got to get DH to take the glass out for me and put in the wire. Love your toile mosaic table!! Have a great day...Kim

  43. I've always enjoyed seeing your touches of toile - your home is so lovely and always looks sunny and welcoming Penny.

I just received a length of a new toile I ordered to make a pillow for the dining room arm chair. it's very unusual - grey and ivory and the design is Turandot with the opera characters and lots of swirls etc. Quite pretty - need to crank the sewing machine up soon...........but the garden calls too!

Spring is all around here and my allergies can vouch for it!
    Hugs - Mary.

I love all of your rooms. Everytime that I see toile...I think of you. Same thing when I see mosaics. I've been trying to think of ways that I could add some toile into my kitchen decor. I have a black hutch in there and I might put the toile fabric on the back of it like you did. Thanks,
