Project Update

Remember this silverware chest I posted about a couple of days ago?

Here it is after painting three coats of Apple a Day Red on it. This color is the same color as the red hutch in my dining room. This is just the base coat. Still lots more work to be done....

Welcome Home,
Penny

  16. It's coming along! I love that shade of red and have admired your china cabinet "from afar" lol!
I have a china cabinet that I'd like to paint but I'm not sure if I should go "bold" and do the read or stay 'safe' and do an antique white or something, but thanks for sharing what you're doing, because I feel inspired. :0)
    Enjoy your day!

  37. I like that make over Penny. I have Ed's Grandmothers silverplate flatware in an old chest. The chest looks worn and is hidden in a drawer... Good idea! Never thought about just ... painting it.
