Meeting A Blog Friend Today!

I am meeting a blog friend today! Someone I have not met in person. We have talked on the phone, emailed and blogged for the past couple of years. I am so excited. She is coming here to my home. Then we will go out to lunch and shop a little. I will tell you all about it tomorrow!

Speaking of friends. I was working in my studio the other day and looked out on my front deck. Here was Mr/Ms White Squirrel looking in at me! Isn't he/she the cutest thing?
Welcome Home,
Penny

I know you'll have a lovely time with your blog friend! If I lived close enough to you - I would be bugging you to go to lunch with me and help me make some fabulous shopping finds! :-) And that white squirrel is the most precious little thing!!

Just amazes me to see that squirrel. Ours are totally brown.

Have fun today!

Penny, your white squirrel is too cute. I have a regular old gray one who runs about on the deck railings.

Yay for meeting a "new" old friend! Have fun...

I love the albino squirrels. Unless there is a white squirrel... we had one in our front yard tree for a while. The kids loved to watch him. He was so beautiful. And such eyes!! We try to save the front yard for the squirrels and the back yard for the birds. I love to watch them both!! :)

What a cute little fellow you have there!! Do you feed him on a regular basis or was he just popping in for a bit when you had camera in hand?!! ;-)

I am so excited to hear about your afternoon with your friend. I would love to meet everyone I have come to know in Blogland~but maybe that would take some of the mystery out of it!

Thanks for coming by today. When you get a chance, let me know what part of Michigan you grew up in. We are in Southwestern MI., near the Indiana border.

xoxo

Are you having fun today? The Lady of Shallot bedroom is in Florida! Do you want to come to FL and go thrifting with me (and help me decorate)? Wouldn't that be FUN!

How Sweet! My boys would want to name him or her 'Snowball'.

I hope that you and your new blogger friend have a wonderful time tomorrow! I wish that I could meet you one day. That would be great! I apologize for not getting your package out to you sooner. I've had so much going on here!

What a fun adventure - can't wait to hear about your blog friend meeting!

Sadly I have had a series of terrible experiences with squirrels so to say that I don't like them is putting it mildly. The little white one looks almost like a bunny so perhaps there are some exceptions to my squirrel policy.

Penny, I remember seeing a white squirrel when hiking at the High Hamptons. I thought white squirrels are pretty rare. Is that the case?
I'm not too happy with the squirrels in our yard this year. They've torn up the cushions and destroyed several limbs on our Japanese Maple. :-(
